Story Behind the Image
Trey Anastasio of Phish during soundcheck at Red Rock in Morrison, CO, 2005.
"I love photographing soundchecks more than the show sometimes! Musicians, especially voluble, gregarious ones like Trey, are so entertaining in soundcheck, trying things out, bantering with the band etc. at this time trey had put together a completely new band and was real time working out arrangements on the fly at soundcheck. Very cool process to document." - Sam Erickson
